Gracewood Academy (formerly known as Mount Grace School) is delighted to make its exceptional facilities available for hire to local organisations and the wider community. Our premises combine rich heritage with modern amenities, offering a secure, well-maintained environment suitable for a wide range of activities and events.

Originally a manor house constructed around 1853 by photographer Roger Fenton and named in honour of his wife, Grace, the estate later became the site of a children’s home in 1949. The manor’s conversion into Mount Grace School was completed in 1954, establishing one of the earliest purpose-built comprehensive schools in the UK.
